1. Enter the age in years and months that you are considering taking your social security benefits

2. Look up the benefit amount on the SSA.Gov website

3. In the option 2 column, enter the age you would like to compare to.

4. Enter the amount , that age of retirement would give you

5. Now click on ‘Compare Benefits”

HOW MUCH WILL I ACTUALLY GET?

1. ENTER THE YEAR OF YOUR BIRTH

2. Look up the benefit amount on the SSA.Gov website

3. IF YOU HAVE ADDITION INCOME, SUCH AS A JOB WHILE TAKING SOCIAL SECURITY, ENTER IT IN THE 3RD BOX

4. Enter tHE AGE YOU ARE TAKING SOCIAL SECURITY

5. Now click on ‘RECALCULATEBenefits”
